Kaarl is a seasoned IT professional and currently works for IBM where he has the responsibility of managing servers for a Fortune 500 customer representing millions of dollars in transactions.
No stranger to travel and the outdoors, Kaarl spent his youth living in Ireland and Germany and traveling across Europe then exploring the frontier of Alaska by land and air as a private pilot. Kaarl's early interest in politics caused him to pursue a degree in Political Science and work for the Alaska State legislature.
Kaarl is a familiar face in Adams County politics and is active in the Republican Party. He is a member of the of the Reagan Club, Lincoln Club, North Suburban Republican Forum and Board Member of the Colorado Republican Business Coalition.
He as been elected State Delegate three times and is the Vice Chairman of District 32 and has run for elected office twice. Earlier this month he was recognized by the Rotary Club as Rotarian of the month. Kaarl’s wife Karen was a Board Member of the Mapleton School District. He has two children and two grandchildren and lives in unincorporated Adams County.
